WordPress Under Construction Page with a Unique Link

Option 1: Using the SeedProd Plugin (Recommended)

1. Install & Activate SeedProd – Coming Soon Page, Maintenance Mode

2. Go to SeedProd → Pages

3. Enable Coming Soon Mode

4. Design your under-construction page with drag-and-drop builder

5. Under Access Controls:

   • Enable Secret Preview Link (e.g., https://yoursite.com/?seedprod_preview=1)

   • Or Whitelist specific IPs or User Roles to access the full site

6. Share the secret link only with people you want to allow access.

Option 2: Using WP Maintenance Mode

1. Install WP Maintenance Mode & Coming Soon

2. Go to Settings → WP Maintenance Mode

3. Activate Maintenance Mode

4. Under General tab, enable Bypass for specific roles or IP addresses

5. Design the under-construction landing page in the Design tab

6. Provide a login or preview link (you may need to whitelist IPs or users).

Your Unique Link Example:

If using SeedProd, it might look like:

https://yourdomain.com/?seedprod_preview=1

You can change the preview parameter or cloak it using a URL shortener or redirection plugin.

This approach lets you keep the site hidden from the public, share a private preview with clients, team, or stakeholders, and avoid confusion while development is ongoing.
